Disclaimer: Solid Wood Movement
Thank you for considering our handcrafted furniture made from premium solid hardwood. We take great pride in delivering exceptional pieces that are both beautiful and durable. However, it is important to understand that solid wood is a natural material and, as such, it is subject to movement due to changes in environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.
Wood expands and contracts with fluctuations in moisture levels in the air. This movement is a natural characteristic of the material and cannot be entirely prevented. Minor variations, such as slight gaps or small cracks, may develop over time. These changes are not defects but are part of the wood’s organic nature, furthermore, Color variations and knots are normal and should be expected.
To minimize movement, we use time-tested construction techniques, but even with our highest standards of craftsmanship, some movement will occur. We recommend maintaining stable indoor conditions by using climate control or a humidifier to help preserve the longevity of your furniture.
By purchasing our solid hardwood furniture, you acknowledge and accept the natural behavior of wood and the potential for movement over time. Thank you for choosing our products, and we hope you enjoy their timeless beauty for years to come.
